Our Story

It Starts With Family

From the beginning, Totally Beaching NMB, has striven to be a captivating vacation rental property that embodies the essence of coastal living. Located at 217 33rd Avenue N, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582, this charming multi-unit rental offers three exquisite 2-bedroom, 1-bath condos available for short-term vacation rentals from April to October, and winter “snowbird” rentals from November 1st to March 31st. The property is situated less than one block away from the pristine shores of Cherry Grove Beach and a mere two blocks from the historic Cherry Grove Pier.

Family owned and operated, the property is unofficially known as Zoey’s Beach House, named for 5-year-old Zoey Poulk. Our guiding principle has always been to create a special place for families to spend time together and to leave behind a legacy of which we can be proud. Since starting the business, we’ve achieved a remarkable occupancy rate nearing 90%, bolstered by our glowing 5-star rating. Our unique edge comes from having one of our owners residing on-site, which ensures swift responses to our guests’ needs. What sets us further apart is our ample parking space, a luxury often missing in the vicinity.

A once flood damaged and dilapted structure, we completely renovated the property with the mindset of “doing it right the first time”. All plumbing, HVAC, electrical, windows, flooring, wall coverings, cabinetry, appliances, and furniture are new. All framing and interior work is to International Commercial Building Code including fire and sound rated partitions. We also installed a fire sprinkler system to ensure the safety of our guests. As for quality of materials, we chose a top line mineral-based composite on the decks because it is slip resistant and won’t burn your feet on hot summer days. The property also boasts Hardie Plank Siding, Commercial Grade LVP Flooring, solid wood cabinets, granite countertops, double hung vinyl egress windows, and crown molding throughout.  Moreover, knowing that the area is prone to occasional flooding, we constructed the ground floor to be essentially “waterproof”. So unlike most other properties in the area, even flooding above historic levels would cause zero damage to our property.

Our sole focus as a vacation rental provider is in providing safe, clean, and affordable accommodations for small middle-class families and couples. With an unwavering focus on guest satisfaction, we aspire to cultivate a loyal and returning customer base. Distinguishing ourselves from the competition, we craft complete vacation experiences, partnering with local tour operators to enrich our guests’ stays. Throughout the year, we further embrace the spirit of hospitality by hosting a variety of vacation retreats, and an alliance with two larger rental properties nearby also ensures we can accommodate even the largest of groups/events.
